Jiahui shen—talking patterns

My inspiration comes from the patterns from fashion runway, cafe and some cloths. I was attracted by the pink curtain made of velvet in shushu/tong 2022runway, and really like its silky and fuzzy texture. This curtain really gave me a wonderful memory of fashion week. I was also inspired by an exhibition about light and shadow, in which the artist created a dreamy world with mirrors and light. One of the most attractive to me is a piece of green light composed of water lily pool.Thin green lights streaked across the round mirror like ripples on a summer lotus pool.
Finally, I would like to talk about the light brown painting. My inspiration comes from the linen texture of the curtain fabric, which is very rough and semi-transparent.It gives a warm and thick feeling, like a field or grassland
